What started out as a typical date night, ended in ministering the love of Jesus to a precious soul who needed healing and comfort. We headed over to Walmart after dinner to the electronic department. As we walked in, I literally picked up a smell of healing in the atmosphere, and then my eyes caught a lady frantically working. I walked past her and my head turned to continue watching her as I began to pray, “Lord, does this lady need healing?” My sense to smell when God is healing people was activated at a Mario Murillo tent revival in 2021. Ever since, every time I smell this distinct smell, I pray for God to highlight what needs to happen wherever we are. So Cory and I wait in line, and this lady ends up helping us check out. Cory tells her “God wants you to know that you are doing a great job today.” This sweet little lady begins to cry and proceeds to tell us that she has been there since 10am this morning (it is now 8pm) and that it has been like this every day because there isn’t enough workers. There are tons of people in line and many others waiting for items to be unlocked. Our heart leaps for this women, and we take her hands and hold them and just stop everything and pray for her right there in front of everyone in line at Walmart. She tells us that she is a believer, a precious daughter of God, who needed to be reminded that God sees her hard work and that He loves her. Her whole countenance changed, and a sigh of relief came over her. God healed her emotionally and she was able to release her burden to the Lord. Jesus was glorified to everyone standing around watching and listening! 🙌🏽
Last night was no different- we were out buying birthday presents for a friend, and the Lord highlights a homeless couple with their dog to Cory. We stop, and we minister the love of Jesus to them and give them groceries. The lady cries because she doesn’t know how she can keep going, being homeless. They both acknowledge that they have accepted Jesus, but we were privileged to display the love of Jesus to them.
A short time ago, we were at a pizza place with friends, and the Lord highlights the manager to us, and she repents of her sin and accepts Jesus as her Lord and Savior! 🙌🏽 Guys, THIS IS REVIVAL! Sharing the gospel produces REVIVAL! It is happening, if you are willing! Is it comfortable? NO?! It’s not supposed to be…. We are called to die to flesh and take up our cross daily. Jesus says in Matthew 9:37-38, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” This mandate has NOT changed! It has intensified. We are seeing it in our lives, wherever we go. We are no longer about our business because we are about our Heavenly Father’s business, and we are honored to labor and work for Him! Will you do what Jesus says above and PRAY for the Lord to send more workers into the harvest?
